Liz Flint is a highly respected Voice & Dialect Coach based in the UK. With over 15 years' experience, she has worked on numerous productions in the West End, at the National Theatre. the Royal Shakespeare Company and in regional theatre.
Liz is currently coaching on the upcoming production of Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare's Globe, directed by Sean Holmes. She is also Dialect Coach on Drew McOnie's world premiere production of The Artist at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.
Recently, she was the Voice & Dialect Coach on the Royal Shakespeare Company's Ben & Imo at the Swan Theatre in Stratford (Erica Whyman), and for the National Theatre, Company Voice Coach on Dear Octopus at the Lyttleton (Emily Burns) and Voice Coach & Children's Singing Coach on The Witches at the Olivier (Lyndsey Turner).
Other voice & dialect projects over the last year have been Hamnet for the RSC at the Garrick Theatre (Erica Whyman), Elf - The Musical at the Dominion Theatre (Philip Wm McKinley), and the UK Theatre Award winning 'Best Musical' production of Gypsy and the highly acclaimed High Society at The Mill at Sonning (Joseph Pitcher).
Liz was the Resident Vocal Coach on the RSC's Matilda The Musical from 2014-2023 at the Cambridge Theatre. During her time on this multi-award winning production, she auditioned, rehearsed and supported 35 Matildas during their time on the show, and a multitude of other children during 16 child cast changes, and 9 adult cast changes. She was also children's singing coach on the film of Matilda (Netflix).
Other work on notable productions include: Elf - The Musical (Dominion Theatre), The Lion King (Lyceum Theatre), Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 - The Musical (Ambassadors Theatre), & Juliet (Shaftesbury Theatre), The End of Eddy (Unicorn Theatre) and Singin' In the Rain, Guys and Dolls, and High Society (2016) at The Mill at Sonning.
Liz was Children's Vocal Coach on Motown - The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre) from 2016-2018, and she was a regular vocal coach for the children on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) from 2015-2016.
She regularly coaches on workshop productions, presents workshops for young people and schools, and is also using her vocal skills as a voiceover artist.
